You must be 25 years old to rent from us.

When booking, there is a 48 hour grace period. If canceled 30 days prior, you will receive a full refund. If canceled 15-29 days out, you will receive a 50% refund. If canceled 14 days prior, there is no refund offered, but you can purchase trip insurance and seek reimbursement through our partners at IMG Global.

Renters are required to pay 50% of the total rental balance at the time of booking, with the remaining balance due 30 days prior to the rental. Holiday or event week rentals require full payment at booking. A $750.00 security deposit will be charged the day before pick up.,

We will make every effort to provide the customer with the model requested. We reserve the right to substitute models of similar or higher grade. Should a model of lower grade be offered and accepted, liability will be limited to refund of price differential between model paid for and model taken.

We offer a few different options. Coverage for the unit while you rent it, is currently provided by Outdoorsy. You will select a coverage package during check out. Additionally, we also offer trip insurance through IMG Global to give you peace of mind if you need to cancel your trip.

Customers are given the opportunity to add roadside assistance during checkout. Customers will also be given The RV Rental Factory contact information to assist in any minor repairs during the rental.

You will be allotted 200 miles per day. Example: A 5 day, 4 night trip will allow you to drive 1000 miles. Anything over 1000 miles (in this example) will be billed at .35 cents per mile.

Some of our RV units have generators. You will get 4 hours of usage per paid night. Example: A 5 day, 4 night trip will give you 16 hours worth of generator usage during your trip. Any usage over 16 hours will be billed at $4.00 per hour.

Absolutely no smoking or vaping of any kind allowed inside the RV's.

If renter is late to pick up or return beyond one hour, an additional $100.00 fee will be applied and may include additional financial responsibility for lost rental income if another rental is affected.

No refunds will be made for early returns or late pick ups.

We allow dogs in SOME of our units. There is no extra fee if bringing a dog, however a extra dog-related cleaning fee may apply if needed.

If the towing SUV or Truck is, registered in your name, capable of towing the selected travel trailer (based on weight class), has a Class III or IV hitch, a Class III or IV ball mount, and a 2-inch or 2 & 5/16 inch hitch ball you can tow a The RV Rental Factory Travel Trailer.

We do allow for towing on some of our motorhomes, but you must provide your own towing equipment. Please reach out to discuss further.

We can add a bike rack to your rental for an additional fee or you may supply your own for your trip.

Yes, there are multiple Walmarts and Menards for supplies and propane as well as a Camping World in Island Lake, IL to dispose of holding tank contents. Camping World charges a small fee. Otherwise you can prepay for us to empty the holding tanks and refill the propane for you.

All motorhomes and travel trailers have levelers attached. The customer will be shown how to operate the levelers during the walkthrough prior to departure.

Yes most motorhomes and travel trailers in our fleet are equipped with awnings, which the customer will be shown how to operate during walkthrough prior to departure.

Yes, may not operate the motorhome or travel trailer on non-paved roads outside licensed RV parks. Coverages are invalid if problems occur and all recovery expenses are at the renter’s own cost. Violations of these restrictions void damage waivers and the renter will be held liable for all vehicle damages including to tires, towing charges and other related expenses as a result of a breakdown associated with operating in these areas.

US registered RVs may enter Canada and return to the US without problem. One way rentals between the two countries are not allowed.

The RV Rental Factory does not allow travel into Mexico.

Free parking is available at The RV Rental Factory. The RV Rental Factory is not responsible for any damages or theft that occurs while vehicles are parked. The RV Rental Factory location is monitored by a 24/7 security system and secured.

No, we do not offer one way travel.

No, we do not offer pickup/drop-off from the airport.

No, any valid state driver license allows one to drive our RV’s.

No, unfortunately we do not offer car seats or cribs at this time.

Some of our motorhomes/travel trailers do come equipped with pots and pans. We notate if a unit has pots and pans in the description of the motor home or travel trailer.

All of our motorhomes and travel trailers are equipped with one or more TV’s.

The RV Rental Factory will conduct a 30-60 walk through of the motorhome/travel trailer to get the customer comfortable with operations prior to departure.

There are ladders on most of The RV Rental Factory motorhomes/travel trailers, but customers are NOT allowed to use the roof other than to remove foreign items/debris.

Each RV has a manufacturer limit for occupancy, which customers must abide by.

The RV Rental Factory will make a reasonable effort to contact guests after departure if they have left any belongings on the premises or in the RV. We will ship items back at the owner's expense. If we are unable to reach the guest(s), the items will be placed in our Lost & Found. Any items that remain in the Lost & Found will be donated to charity or discarded after 60 days.
